The summit of Angel’s Peak which we climbed at night to watch the sunrise over the mountains. A sensational sight never forgotten by Anthony Sargeant. Taken a little after the first break of dawn some of the morning mist which at first light carpeted the valleys like a sea below us is still clinging to the shade of the hillsides. Steve Lee turns to face camera.

Dawn seen from the bedroom window of Tony’s Shropshire (UK) home at 6.24 am on 8th August 2016. The night mist still clings to the water meadows surrounding the River Corve just below the house. Wonderful morning but soon it is a harbinger for the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness which will soon be upon us once again.
